Today the letter Q is for making a quarter fold card. The card above is one I created with an image of a Hawaiian beach drawn on the front, and you can see the tutorial I created here.
Another quarter-fold card that I created had a picture of a Hawaiian sunset that I drew on the front.
Quarter-fold cards are easy to create. Simply fold a sheet of paper in half, and then into a quarter to create the quarter fold card. I like drawing pictures on the front, and the video below illustrates how I created the Hawaiian sunset drawing on a quarter-fold card. Do you like drawing images on the front of cards?
Grids are highly useful when you want to sketch something quickly and accurately. Take a look at the videos to see how I created this lovely puppy birthday card for my nephew.
Also, the great thing about coloring in the puppy is that it will cover up the grid lines, so no one will know you did not draw your illustration freehand! Also, I painted mod podge over the puppy card to give it a lustrous painting like effect.
In the post for the letter C I discussed how I finished a Christmas tree drawing, so today I will show how I turned this illustration and a couple of others into Christmas ornaments. So it may be almost another year until we have Christmas again, but it is good to know we can make crafts for the holiday season well in advance.
This video shows how I created the Christmas ornaments from start to finish.
