Easter Cursive Text And Egg

This Easter graphic was drawn by hand and colored in with metallic colored pencils and a silver crayon.

First I drew out the Easter cursive text and egg with a pencil.

I do not eat eggs, but I do like to draw pictures of these for Easter.

I used a silver metallic pencil to color in the background behind the Easter cursive text and striped egg.

Once I finished shading in the Easter text with a pencil, I went over it with a gold colored pencil so the letters would shine. Also, a pink metallic colored pencil was used on several stripes of the egg, and gold and silver and silver colored pencils were used to shade in the other stripes.

A silver crayon went over the silver colored pencil background to create a shiny image.

Drawing The Cats Snoopy And Ashbury

I have created an outline drawing the cats Snoopy and Ashbury.

This drawing is based on a photograph I took of Snoopy and Ashbury back in 1997.

Snoopy and Ashbury are two cats touching noses.

As you can see from the photograph, the stripey orange male cat is touching noses with the gray and white female kitten. This picture was captured in the spring of 1997 among the daffodils and hyacinth flowers.

The outline drawing I am creating will be used at the outline for an oil painting.

Max The Cat In His Cradle

My drawing of Max the cat in the cradle.
My drawing of Max the cat in the cradle.

This is a drawing creating back in 2011 of Max the cat in the cradle.

When I drew this composition I used the grid technique, which is a simple way to work on a drawing. The grid helps to focus on one part of the drawing at a time.
