Finishing The Illustration of Lady Dog

Using sepia, brown, and white to burnish the wood background behind Lady. First, I used the dark brown colored pencil to define the wood grain.

I used sienna brown colored pencils to create the tiles Lady dog is lying on.  The grout in between the tiles was created with a chocolate brown colored pencil.

Drawing A Palm Tree With Colored Pencils

The other day I drew a picture of a palm tree with colored pencils. Palm trees are one of my favorite things to draw, and I am also inspired to create new imagery that feature these.

Z Is For The Zebra Drawing
