O Is For Making Christmas Ornaments

Here I am using magnets to display the completed Christmas tree illustration. I used a blue colored pencil to fill in the sky behind the Christmas tree.
This Christmas tree drawing I created was transformed into an ornament.

In the post for the letter C I discussed how I finished a Christmas tree drawing, so today I will show how I turned this illustration and a couple of others into Christmas ornaments.  So it may be almost another year until we have Christmas again, but it is good to know we can make crafts for the holiday season well in advance.

Paint a coat of glitter glue on the ornaments. I created this by mixing glue with glitter and spreading it over each drawing with a paint brush.

Here is the small Christmas wreath drawing that I glued on cardboard, and then painted glitter glue over the surface.

Here is the slightly larger wreath drawing that I turned into an ornament. I love the way the glitter makes it sparkle.
