The Cross Stitched Gingerbread Man Ornament

I created a cross stitch gingerbread man ornament out of plastic canvas mesh and yarn. The video below illustrates how I created the gingerbread man from start to finish. To create the hanger for the ornament I simply inserted a red ribbon, which I tied off on the top. Making ornaments for your friends during the Christmas season is a frugal and fun way to save when it comes to those on your gift list.

A ribbon was inserted in the ornament using an embroidery needle.

I added a red ribbon to the ornament to hang it up with. The red ribbon was attached by using the embroidery needle to thread it through the plastic canvas mesh. This is just an example of the many types of ornaments you can make during the Christmas season. Happy Holidays!
